The Wessex Kidney Patients Association (WKPA) is affiliated to the National Kidney Federation (NKF) which comprises representatives from local KPA’s throughout the country.
It is an influential body having contact with MP’s, Government Ministers and with many of the industries which supply medicines and equipment to the Renal Community.
Your Charity, the Wessex Kidney Patients
Association, has a representative on the NKF Executive Committee.
This, effectively, gives YOU a voice at
Government level.
The NKF Helpline 0845 601 02 09 offers
information and advice on all aspects of Renal Failure.
A considerable amount of information is also available on the NKF Website on
www.kidney.org.uk
The NKF has a YOUNG PERSONS GROUP chaired by Sara Tyler. Sara is contactable through the NKF office on 01909 487795.
All patients are encouraged to attend the NKF Annual Conference. This is usually held in Blackpool in September.
